How to Use the Audio File Converter

1. Launch the Application: When you open the application, you will see a minimalistic interface with a few buttons and a dropdown menu.

2. Select a File: Click on the "Select File" button. A file dialog will open, allowing you to choose a WAV audio file from your computer that you wish to convert. Once a file is selected, its name will be displayed in the application, and if it's a mono or stereo file, it will be indicated as well.

3. Choose the Conversion Type: Use the dropdown menu to select the type of conversion you want to perform. You can choose between:

• Mono: Converts the selected stereo file into a mono file by averaging the left and right channels.

• Stereo: Converts the selected mono file into a stereo file by duplicating the mono channel into both the left and right channels.

4. Convert the File: After selecting the file and choosing the desired conversion type, click the "Convert" button to start the conversion process. The application will then process the audio file according to your selection.

5. Conversion Complete: Once the conversion is complete, a message will pop up informing you of the success. The converted file will be saved in the same location as the original file but with "_converted" appended to its name. For example, if your original file was named "song.wav", the converted file will be named "song_converted.wav".

• The application currently supports only WAV files for conversion.

• If you try to convert a file that is already in the desired format (e.g., converting a mono file to mono), the application will inform you that the file is already in the desired format and no conversion will be performed.
